We caught 5 Tiger Muskies in this segment. No giants, but 5 Tiger Muskies in a day isn’t bad. We missed some nice Tiger muskies and had lots of followers. Learn how to catch Tiger Muskies from a seasoned Muskie guide (Capt Eric Anderson) that will help you choose the right baits and choose locations to find Muskies

You’ll see in the video all Tiger Muskies were 30 to 40 inches long. I chose to land every one of these fish by hand because I did not want to injure them in the net. I could carefully release them in the water making it lots easier on the Muskies and a little more hazardous for me. I didn’t pull them out of the water for that beauty shot for the same reason. I wanted to get them back as soon as possible to minimize the stress on the fish. I’m fairly certain that most of you know what a Tiger Muskie looks like there’s no reason for extra stress on the fish.

You can see from the video all of the Muskies (5 Total) were caught on a Bomber Long A shallow rip bait and fishing it in short rips like you would any rip bait. For some reason those tigers weren’t interested in Bucktails or any traditional Muskie jerk baits. It makes perfect sense because they were eating a lot of trout that are stocked in the lake for put and take fishing. That Bomber was just the right size to get the job done!
